Maybe I'm a cynical, bitter, gender-confused, mostly-asexual, environmentally-friendly, vegan, atheist, conspiracy-theory-espousing, part-time furry, liberationist activist. Or maybe not.
Now you want to find out, though, don't you?
This journal is not friends-only, because I can easily answer for my actions and opinions. This journal, however, is also not kid-friendly. It will contain discussion of drugs, sex, and political issues of all kinds. If you don't want to read it, don't click my name. I'm not, however, a hateful, rude, or mean person. I'm just very loud, very opinionated, and very convinced that I've got most moral issues pinned to the corkboard (like so many pretty butterflies~). If you think I'm wrong, feel free to engage me in a debate. I love arguing. Just don't go away sore if you lose.
We cannot expect people to have respect for law and order until we teach respect to those we have entrusted to enforce those laws. Hunter S. Thompson
Right and wrong do exist. Just because you don't know what the right answer is — maybe there's even no way you could know what the right answer is — doesn't make your answer right or even okay. Dr. Gregory House (Hugh Laurie, of course)
We need another and a wiser and perhaps a more mystical concept of animals. Remote from universal nature, and living by complicated artifice, man in civilization surveys the creature through the glass of his knowledge and sees thereby a feather magnified and the whole image in distortion. We patronize them for their incompleteness, for their tragic fate of having taken form so far below ourselves. And therein we err, and greatly err. For the animal shall not be measured by man. In a world older and more complete than ours they move finished and complete, gifted with extensions of the senses we have lost or never attained, living by voices we shall never hear. They are not brethren, they are not underlings; they are other nations caught with ourselves in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners of the splendour and travail of the earth. Henry Beston
Tell me, what has become of my rights? Am I invisible because you ignore me? Your proclamation promised me free liberty, now. I'm tired of being the victim of shame. They're throwing me in a class with a bad name. I can't believe this is the land from which I came. Michael Jackson
